A big thank-you to our sponsors!

We’d like to say thank you to our Captain & Lieutenant sponsors 93digital, SiteGround, Theme Furnace, Make Do and WP Engine. Their support made #WCBRS a reality.

Thanks to 34SP

We want to say a massive thank you to our amazing Admiral sponsor 34SP.com.

The support of 34SP.com helped to make WordCamp Bristol a success, and we couldn’t have done it without them. Their contribution helped to keep our ticket prices low, ensuring we could keep the event accessible and inclusive for all.

Check out some of their awesome tweets from the weekend:

They also made this great little video during their trip:

The team at 34SP.com are a friendly bunch, so if you didn’t manage to chat to them over the weekend, just shoot them a message.

Thanks to FlexiDB and Mind Doodle

We need to say a huge thank you to our friends over at FlexiDB, who presented their new online mind map, Mind Doodle, over the weekend at WCBRS.

Not only were FlexiDB & Mind Doodle the first sponsors for WordCamp Bristol, they were also key members of our voluntary planning team and helped to promote the inaugural WordCamp Bristol to a wide audience. They hosted our planning meetings at their office and offered two expert talks from Richard Hill and Khalid Munir too.

With their support, we were able to create a successful event that was accessible and inclusive for all.

If you didn’t manage to chat to them over the weekend, send them a message (tess@minddoodle.com) and organise to meet up.

Change to schedule

Regrettably George Gkouvousis has been forced to withdraw from WordCamp Bristol and will now not be speaking. We wish him and his family well.

We are grateful to web accessibility consultant Graham Armfield who has kindly agreed to do double duties and will now be presenting two talks at WordCamp Bristol, filling the slot vacated by George. Graham is an experienced WordCamp speaker and has a wealth of knowledge about web accessibility.

Catch Graham at 2:00pm on Saturday when he will be demonstrating assistive technologies, and then again at 3:00pm on Sunday when he will be speaking about designing for accessibility.
