WordCamp Bristol is in need of a crew – we’re recruitin’ volunteers to help out over the weekend of 13/14 May at the Watershed.
We have a number of roles that you can take on, including:
- reception desk meet-‘n’-greeters,
- swag distributors,
- speaker wrangler,
- sponsor wrangler,
- catering co-ordinator,
So whatever your talents or skills, you can be sure that we’ve got a place for you on our crew!
This is your chance to not just help out with, and attend, a WordCamp, but to meet new people in the WordPress community and make new contacts and new friends. And you get to share in the group satisfaction of a job well done at the end of it all!
So splice the mainbrace, all hands on deck – head over to our volunteers page to sign up and get involved.
Tickets for WordCamp Bristol 2017 are now on sale! We’re thrilled to announce that the gang-plank is down and you can now come on board.
As well as the normal conference ticket, we’ve added a couple of micro-sponsor tickets for those who are happy to contribute a little more to the event. Allow us to explain.
The true cost of a ticket
It is thanks to our generous sponsors that we are able to offer tickets to WordCamp Bristol at the low price of £25, but the actual cost to us of every attendee is approximately £125.
We want to keep tickets accessible to all but if you can afford it and wish to contribute a little more to the event then please consider purchasing one of our micro-sponsor tickets. By doing so you will be supporting WordPress and contributing to the spread of knowledge and information about WordPress. You also get to have a logo (up to 140px X 140px) or your name linked to your website on our Sponsors page.
“I’m up for it, what do I do now?”, we hear you ask. Well, you visit our tickets page and sign up.
We look forward to having you aboard for the very first WordCamp Bristol!
We’re both delighted and excited to announce that tickets for WordCamp Bristol will go on sale at midday on Mon 6th February 2017. Make sure to snap yours up early to avoid missing out.
